He previously served as the CISO and HIPAA Security Officer for Nova Southeastern University in Florida. He is also the CEO and co-founder of OMC Systems LLC, a cybersecurity advisory firm. He also is the President and co-founder of TaskForce Red, a cybersecurity advisory firm led by veterans.
He is an MSI Senior Fellow™ and has many years of experience in technical and cybersecurity related operational, project, and program management with experience both domestically and internationally.
He has over 25 years in the Information Technology field, with several years being focused primarily on regulated industry practice areas. His experience includes several industry regulations including HIPAA, HITECH, GLBA, FERPA, FCPA, FIPA, and PCI.
As a highly accomplished author, Mr. Christly’s articles have appeared in publications such as Security Magazine, Executive Insight Magazine, 24/7 Magazine, and the ISSA Journal. He is a frequent speaker at international, national, and regional healthcare and security events.
He is a trusted advisor to executives (Legal, CEO, CISO, CIO, CTO, CFO, Risk Management, Internal Audit, etc.) and has strong relationship development and presentation skills.
Mr. Christly has investigated many different types of cases in his career, including medical malpractice, bankruptcy, fraud, vendor collusion, payroll fraud, regulatory related offenses, intellectual property, computer abuse and more. He has also designed, built, and/or operated 5 cyber forensic labs during his career.
